Since Apple has disabled the functionality of recording desktop/internal audio in all Macs, before you start to record with OBS, you must download IShouU Audio Capture, an audio plugin, onto your Mac. In this way, OBS is able to record the internal sound on your Mac. How to make iShowU work with OBS Step 1 Download and install iShowU on your Mac. Use the Desktop Audio setting in OBS. Similar to the above, navigate to Audio Mixer Desktop Audio Click the Settings button (small gear cog symbol) Properties. Select your audio interface as the Device. Any audio you play on the computer should then be heard on the stream. Everything works how I want it to in OBS except my desktop audio. I tried going into settingsaudiodevicesdesktop audio, but it's disabled by default and doesn't have an option to enable. With OBS Studio, you can record the screen of your Mac, or take a screenshot, and stream it live to some of the most popular video platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and more. All you have to do is enter the streaming information to start broadcasting your videos with OBS Studio.
